Golf Courses

There are Golf Courses in virtually every country in the world.  However, no two courses anywhere are going to be the same - one of the many reasons why Golf can be a Challenge:

Distance: Most holes range from 100-600 yards, though some are even shorter or longer.

Course Geography: Holes can be laid out in various different ways, depending on the Course. For example, the placement of hazards, which may include water and bunkers, and the greens, may have different aspects.

Tee Off: Generally; from where you can tee-off there are three sets of markers, designated by three different coloured areas on the ground. The tees are set at different distances from the Green, thus dictating the distance of the tee from the hole. The colours generally indicate the following distances:

Red = Short - White = Medium - Blue = Long

You should select a distance / colour at the outset of play / practice and continue to use this throughout the Course.
