What is Par?

It's a good idea to familiarise yourself with the concept of Par before you start out. 

Par = the standard number of strokes it takes a Pro to complete a hole, i.e. To complete a Par 4 hole, a Professional Golfer will anticipate 4 strokes:

1)   One stroke from the Tee to the Fairway.
